I am considered an out-of-network provider.  That means that payment for therapy is due at the time of service, and you work with your insurance company on your own to seek potential reimbursement. It's important to research your benefits in advance if you will be seeking reimbursement.  Please see my rates below.  Upon request, I would be happy to provide you with a bill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.


Selecting the professional to enter into therapy with is an important decision ~ one that can be difficult to make without first having the opportunity to meet that someone in-person.  That's why I offer a unique alternative to the traditional intake.  All first-time clients have the option of scheduling a free 15-minute phone consultation or an in-person Meet & Greet consultation.  The Meet & Greet is a risk-free opportunity for you to get a feel for what therapy would be like with me - before you make up your mind.  You can check out my office, meet me and ask questions BEFORE you decide if I'm the right fit for you and BEFORE you are charged a fee.

The $150 session fee for a Meet & Greet appointment is only charged and collected (at the 2nd appointment) from clients who make the decision to continue on with therapy with me.  It's my way of acknowledging the value of the therapeutic relationship and honoring your process for finding that "just right" person for YOU.  If you decide we aren't a good fit, the fee is waived so that you are able to use that money to continue your search.

Please note:  Clients who book and then cancel a Meet & Greet appointment with less than 24-hours notice forfeit their right to book another Meet & Greet.  Any future appointment would require that the client complete all intake paperwork at least 24-hours in advance.


My session fees are detailed at the bottom of this page.  Payment of the full fee is due at the time of your therapy session, and can be paid with cash, check, HSA/FSA and all major credit cards. I do not bill for services or carry account balances. 


Please be advised that Possibilities Therapy has a 24-hour cancellation policy.  Any time there is a cancellation, that time-slot becomes an opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.  With little to no advance notice, it becomes less likely that the time-slot can be filled.   For this reason, it is my policy to charge the full session fee for no shows and cancellations within 24-hours of the scheduled session.    


To help prevent this situation from occurring, I have an automated system in place that will deliver appointment reminders in advance, and include the option to cancel/reschedule, if needed.  I also have the ability to customize the timing of the reminder(s) you receive.  Please let me know if you'd like to discuss that option.   

Running Late?

When you make a therapy appointment, you are reserving a specific block of time to work with me. If you are running late to your appointment,  please let me know that you are on your way and come as soon as you are safely able.  We will make the most of the time that remains!  But as a courtesy to others, appointment times are not adjusted to accommodate late arrivals. If I don't hear from you, I will wait for 15 minutes after our appointed time, after which I will consider it a missed appointment and may choose to leave the office.
