Kim Edmister spent 29 years working in public education. She started out as a high school math teacher, and then transitioned to roles that aligned more with her growing passion to make a real difference in the lives of others. In addition to delivering direct educational and mental health services to children and families, she wrote creative and proactive curriculum designed to meet the evolving needs of those she served.
She holds a BA in Psychology from Southern Methodist University, an MS Ed in Counseling from Alfred University, and an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University.
Kim now continues her work as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with a special passion for working with couples—believing that strong, healthy relationships between adults has lasting benefits that impact families for generations to come.
